About the Role

The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic delivers electrical and mechanical support for assigned buildings, covering power, HVAC, lighting, and other subsystems, and is responsible for preventive maintenance, emergency response, and vendor management. The position requires a valid state driver’s license and may involve on‑call duties. • Perform electrical work on low/medium voltage power and lighting systems. • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems and controls, including coil cleaning, filter and belt changes. • Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to after‑hours emergencies for facility subsystems. • Carry out general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture. • Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith services, and tenant request fulfillment. • Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts and perform minor plumbing repairs. • Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as directed. • Conduct facility inspections and document as‑found conditions. • Manage vendor relationships for maintenance services and supplies. • Use ladders up to 30 ft, lift a minimum of 80 lb, and carry a 20 lb tool bag while on ladders.
