About the Role

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets covering labour, materials, equipment and services. • Perform comprehensive cost analysis and forecasting to keep projects within budget. • Identify potential financial risks and create mitigation strategies. • Prepare and present detailed cost reports and progress updates to project managers and stakeholders. • Collaborate with project teams, procurement and contract management to provide cost control and planning advice. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in design and execution. • Engage and manage third‑party quantity surveyors and validate construction cost estimates. • Update and maintain a repository of historical cost data for future projects. • Define and track cost performance metrics, leading monthly cost reporting and analysis. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable. • Confidential handling of applicant information in accordance with EEO guidelines.

What You Bring

The firm is looking for an experienced Cost Consultant to join its data centre team, responsible for managing and analysing costs throughout the construction lifecycle. The role focuses on financial efficiency, risk mitigation and accurate reporting, and may involve SOX control responsibilities as required. • Minimum 3 years of cost engineering experience, preferably in data centre construction. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with cost estimation software. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for client‑facing roles. • Good organisational skills, ability to multitask, prioritise and work collaboratively.
