About the Role

As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will lead service and contract technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, while supporting the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions to complex problems and managing projects. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff, auditing preventative‑maintenance programs and maintaining strong working relationships across the entire operations facility. The role involves physical tasks such as reaching overhead, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, wearing required PPE, and moving between sites up to 12 miles per day in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and related control components. • Create, assign, and close work orders, documenting labor hours, maintenance details, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. • Mentor junior technicians, providing training and support. • Maintain positive relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of experience with material‑handling equipment, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, CMMS and PLC programming, as well as proven team‑lead and vendor‑management abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field and hands‑on experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Require high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, CMMS, and PLC programming. • Must have team‑lead experience, vendor management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Preferred: Associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical field and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Physical demands include reaching overhead, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, wearing PPE, and traveling 6–12 mi daily in a warehouse environment.
