About the Role

The Project Manager oversees all aspects of community development, maintaining construction schedules, coordinating with department heads, external consultants, and the land development teams. Key responsibilities include maintaining community and horizontal construction schedules, supervising construction activities and quality control, coordinating architectural and engineering inputs, managing consultants, providing weekly progress reports, creating and maintaining site budgets, negotiating contracts, assisting feasibility studies, handling DRE processing and HOA setup, securing bonds, coordinating model complexes and permits, and supporting operations during construction. • Maintain community and horizontal construction schedules while ensuring quality control. • Coordinate architectural, civil, landscape, and soils engineering inputs with internal and external stakeholders. • Produce weekly written progress reports covering meetings, issue resolution, and safety updates. • Develop and manage site budgets; negotiate contracts with consultants and service providers. • Assist in feasibility studies and oversee DRE processing, CC&Rs, and HOA formation. • Secure necessary bonds and obtain model‑complex and conditional‑use permits. • Support the Operations Department throughout the construction phase.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in community development, redevelopment, economic development, civil engineering, or homebuilding, a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field), strong PC and project‑management software skills, excellent analytical and writing abilities, a valid driver’s license, and strong motivational, management, and organizational skills. The role is primarily a sedentary office position with occasional physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as using a keyboard and telephone equipment. • Minimum 5 years of experience in community development, redevelopment, economic development, civil engineering, or homebuilding. • Proficient with MS Office Suite and project‑management software; strong analytical and writing skills. • Valid unrestricted driver’s license; strong motivational, management, and organizational abilities.
