Cleaner- 3rd Shift

About the Role

The Cleaner is responsible for sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors, using both light and heavy commercial buffers and shampoo machines. Additional duties include vacuuming rugs, spot‑cleaning carpets, dusting furniture, cleaning windowsills, interior glass, and interior walls, as well as maintaining bathrooms and restocking supplies. The employee will monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or lighting problems, handle building trash and replace liners, and remove snow from entrances when directed. Periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing are also performed. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors using buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs, spot‑clean carpets, and perform occasional deep shampooing. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, picture frames, light fixtures, and horizontal surfaces. • Clean interior windowsills, glass doors, partitions, and specified windows. • Maintain and restock restrooms, including cleaning fixtures, tiles, and waste removal. • Monitor and report maintenance issues such as clogged urinals or lighting failures. • Collect and dispose of building trash, replace liners, and handle snow removal as needed. • Perform periodic high‑dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate with the custodial team. • Use cleaning equipment safely, including portable backpack vacuums, and exhibit attention to detail and high energy.

What You Bring

The Cleaner will work the 3rd shift under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services. The position follows established standards, instructions, and procedures of the company. It is an entry‑level role that does not require prior cleaning experience. Successful candidates must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. They must be comfortable using cleaning tools and equipment, including portable backpack vacuums, and demonstrate attention to detail, energy, and endurance. Strong organization and pride in delivering excellent service are essential.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $13.60 to $16.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package with health, vision, dental, retirement, and paid time off options.
