About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution machinery throughout the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment while mentoring junior technicians and fostering positive relationships across the facility. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.). • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, maintenance actions, and parts used. • Track and store department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years experience with material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree in a mechanical or electrical field and experience with robotic operations and MHE safety standards. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project for document management. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety regulations. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and lift up to 50 lb while wearing required PPE.
