About the Role

The senior database developer will design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and Azure Data Factory pipelines. They will analyze existing database structures, recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability, and collaborate with software developers and business analysts to implement robust data solutions. Optimizing and troubleshooting queries, indexing strategies, and database bottlenecks, while ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance, are also key responsibilities. • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and Azure Data Factory pipelines. • Analyze and improve existing database structures for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to implement robust data solutions. • Optimize and troubleshoot queries, indexing strategies, and database bottlenecks. • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with internal and external standards. • Reverse engineer existing code to derive requirements. • Support application development by optimizing database usage with system architects.

What You Bring

The role involves maintenance, support, enhancement, and development of new database solutions, including SSIS packages, stored procedures, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and SSRS reports. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and have at least five years of SQL development experience. Required skills include expertise in T‑SQL, performance tuning, query optimization, database design, and hands‑on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
