Job Highlights
About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear lift attachments to transport waste or recyclables to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. Roles include Commercial, Residential, and Roll‑off drivers, each requiring skilled backing maneuvers and navigation through high‑traffic roads, driveways, alleyways, and lot environments. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA, DOT regulations, and all local, state, and federal laws. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR). • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service interruptions promptly to management or dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Dump receptacles, clean customer locations, and follow assigned routes. • Complete end‑of‑day documentation and assist other drivers as directed.

What You Bring
• Required: Minimum 1 year operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent military driving experience, age 18+, legal work eligibility, Class A or B CDL with air‑brake endorsement. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED. • Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing.

Pay starts at $26 per hour plus experience-based increases, with benefits effective on day one. Shifts begin as early as 3 a.m., lasting 10–12 hours Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and paid overtime is provided.
