Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy equipment at a limestone quarry.

About the Role
• Maintain uncompromising safety focus. • Perform heavy/major maintenance repairs. • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance on equipment and trucks. • Complete maintenance and work order records accurately. • Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects. • Manage heavy‑equipment parts (catalogs, procurement, storage, cost). • Perform housekeeping and work‑area checks. • Operate mobile equipment and company vehicles on highways and job sites. • Work with limited supervision and schedule own tasks. • Work in all weather conditions. • Build effective relationships with employees and vendors.

What You Bring
The role demands a strong focus on safety and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, hydraulic systems, drivetrain, heating/cooling, and electrical systems. The mechanic must perform heavy and routine maintenance, keep accurate work order records, conduct inspections, and may be required to weld, fabricate, and manage equipment parts. Work is performed in all weather conditions and may include weekend or overtime hours, with limited supervision. • Minimum 3 years heavy‑equipment experience. • Available for weekend work/overtime. • Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist, lift 70 lb and climb heights up to 20 ft.
