About the Role

The laborer will complete general and manual tasks on the job site, provide directions to trucks and suppliers, and operate light heavy equipment such as a skid steer or backhoe when needed. Daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with proper documentation, equipment servicing, and adherence to OSHA, MSHA, and environmental regulations are required. Effective communication and a strong focus on safety are essential. The employee may also be called upon to assist other crews or perform additional duties as directed. • Perform manual labor tasks and site cleanup • Provide directions to and receive tickets from trucks and suppliers • Operate skid steer, backhoe, or similar heavy equipment as needed • Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with required documentation • Service and maintain equipment per management direction • Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations

What You Bring

Candidates should have 1–2 years of construction experience, a valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and provide I‑9 documentation. Reliability, punctuality, willingness to work overtime, and a commitment to safe work practices are mandatory. A willingness to learn and be trained on new grading and asphalt equipment is expected.
