Group Technical Program Manager

About the Role

The role requires close collaboration with business, product, and engineering teams to define project scope and feature sets, while establishing delivery schedules, tracking milestones, and reporting progress. The incumbent will own the end-to-end execution of large programs, oversee junior program managers, and foster cross-department relationships to resolve conflicts and unblock initiatives. Additionally, they must balance business objectives with trade-offs that maximize value, apply domain expertise to challenge assumptions, and represent DP World’s values, safety standards, and code of conduct. • Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to define scope and feature sets. • Establish delivery schedules, track milestones, and report progress. • Build strong cross-department relationships, resolve conflicts, and rally the right people to unblock projects. • Leverage domain and technical knowledge to challenge viewpoints and suggest alternatives. • Act as a DP World ambassador, upholding Founder’s Principles, values, safety standards, and Code of Conduct. • Have mentored junior program managers.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field and have 10-15 years of program-management experience in technology, e-commerce, or logistics, preferably complemented by an MBA with supply-chain focus. A proven track record of launching large revenue-generating initiatives, mentoring junior managers, and strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are essential. The role also demands the ability to report progress, drive delivery, maintain relationships, and a passion for delivering world-class customer experiences. • Own end-to-end execution of large business programs while overseeing junior program managers. • Understand business objectives and make trade-offs to maximize value and minimize delays. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology. • MBA with supply-chain or e-commerce experience is a plus; 10-15 years of program-management experience in technology companies with international trade, e-commerce, and logistics background. • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, issue-resolution, deadline-driven work ethic, attention to detail, and multitasking ability. • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, quantitative analysis, and sound judgment for prioritization. • Able to report progress, push for delivery, and maintain relationships. • Show exceptional passion for delivering world-class customer experiences.
