Senior Associate Software Engineer - AI/ML

About the Role

In this position you will work closely with product and research groups to translate business requirements into AI‑powered workflows, while adhering to modern software engineering standards such as version control, CI/CD, testing, and containerization on cloud platforms. The role also requires effective communication across cross‑functional and global teams. • Design, build, and maintain Agentic AI systems using frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Google ADK. • Develop conversational AI bots and assistants for chat interfaces and embedded applications. • Integrate large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. • Implement memory, retrieval, and reasoning modules to make agents context‑aware and goal‑oriented. • Optimize prompt design, chain‑of‑thought reasoning, and agent orchestration for reliability and performance. • Collaborate with product and research teams to define AI‑driven workflows and use cases. • Continuously evaluate and integrate new AI libraries, frameworks, and model APIs. • Apply Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and tool‑using techniques to improve factual accuracy. • Monitor agent performance, analyze logs, and apply feedback loops for continuous improvement. • Follow best practices for AI ethics, security, and data privacy in all solutions.

What You Bring

The Bangalore team is looking for a highly motivated Associate Software Engineer focused on building AI/ML‑driven solutions. The role involves designing, building, and launching production‑grade multi‑agent systems and conversational experiences, leveraging large language models, agentic AI frameworks, and modern engineering practices to meet real customer and business needs. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 1–2 years of experience in software development or AI/ML projects. • Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript. • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or LangChain (a plus). • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including version control, CI/CD, and testing. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization using Docker. • Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS). • Exposure to NLP concepts and generative AI applications. • Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. • Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and global time zones with strong communication and influencing skills.
