About the Role
The role is focused on driving strategic and national account growth within the California market, serving as a Paladin brand ambassador and coach. Responsibilities include cultivating high‑value client and partner relationships, promoting new security technologies, and ensuring seamless transition of new accounts to operations for long‑term success. • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with target sectors. • Propose and present security solutions (access control, video management, design, service, monitoring). • Manage full business development lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation. • Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers and stakeholders. • Ensure smooth handoff of new accounts to sales and operations teams. • Lead discovery meetings, develop customized proposals, and deliver sales presentations. • Execute national and strategic account opportunities. • Track and report KPIs, forecasting, and revenue using Microsoft Dynamics. • Support RFP responses, pricing models, and contract negotiations with internal teams. • Represent Paladin as brand ambassador at industry events and client engagements. • Develop and deliver messaging on Paladin’s capabilities to clients and partners. • Build and maintain a strong regional and national network for market visibility. • Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, and regional operations for aligned strategies. • Foster relationships with consultants, product partners, and key market stakeholders. • Provide timely and accurate responses to proposals and bids. • Meet with external client decision‑makers to understand needs and current vendors. • Follow up on leads and maintain customer notes for forecasting. • Contribute to profitable growth and client service solutions. • Keep stakeholders informed of progress and account status. • Monitor competitive landscape and security technology trends.

What You Bring

The work environment is a clean, well‑lit, and ventilated office with low to moderate noise levels. • Results‑oriented networking and prospecting. • Excellent customer relationship skills. • Strong written and verbal communication for individuals and groups. • Strong interpersonal skills with clients and employees. • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation. • Multi‑tasking ability under deadlines and time constraints. • Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, OneNote, Visio). • Effective interaction across all levels and diverse cultures. • Adaptability to evolving external environment and organization. • 10+ years senior‑level business development experience, preferably in security, integration, or services. • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and consultative, solutions‑based selling style. • Executive presence and ability to inspire trust with clients and internal teams. • Technical sales experience serving commercial accounts in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. • Experience in security, electronics, telecommunications, networking, construction or IT. • Proven ability to engage and influence key stakeholders. • Willingness to travel while managing and growing the sales territory. • University degree in Business or related field (preferred). • Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting. • Knowledge of security industry tools, processes, and technologies. • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $150,000‑$200,000 (DOE) with standard Monday‑Friday hours, occasional overtime, and travel requirements. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and various voluntary supplemental options.
