About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Superintendent will oversee the construction effort to ensure it conforms to design, budget, and schedule. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating onsite functions, supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and providing technical assistance such as interpreting drawings and recommending construction methods. • Supervise construction to meet design, budget, and schedule goals. • Plan, coordinate, and manage onsite scheduling and subcontractor activities. • Ensure crafts and subcontractors comply with contract documents and use materials efficiently. • Provide technical guidance, including drawing interpretation and method recommendations. • Assist project management with schedule development, site logistics, and procedural implementation. • Support the Site Specific Safety Plan and coordinate with on‑site owner representatives.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a four‑year Engineering or Construction Management degree (preferred) and have at least 20 years of field supervisory experience, including 10 years as a Superintendent on projects valued at $200 million or more. Required skills include knowledge of U.S. construction methods, experience with city, state, or federal clients, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and HCSS HeavyBid, as well as OSHA and First Aid certifications and strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Hold a relevant four‑year degree (preferred) and 20 years of field supervisory experience. • Possess at least 10 years of superintendent experience on projects exceeding $200 million. • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and HCSS HeavyBid. • Maintain OSHA and First Aid certifications and exhibit excellent communication skills.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 based on experience, and Tutor Perini Corporation will not consider candidates submitted by staffing agencies. This role is for a Superintendent located on a project site in Midtown Manhattan.
