About the Role

The 2nd shift Operations Supervisor I is responsible for supporting and engaging production associates, ensuring daily production goals and quality standards are met, and maintaining a hazard‑free environment. The role includes inventory control, directing work, assisting with performance management, rewarding, coaching, developing associates, and resolving complaints and problems. • Ensure production processes and inspections meet highest quality standards. • Prioritize, schedule, and direct associate work to achieve efficient workflow and financial goals. • Evaluate and recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and associate utilization. • Maintain clear communication with managers, supervisors, leads, and associates. • Review and schedule daily labor requirements with the Operations Manager. • Prepare, analyze, and submit data and reports to other departments. • Develop, empower, and lead a cohesive, diverse team while ensuring policy compliance. • Facilitate training and development for new and existing associates. • Manage conflicts, performance issues, and provide feedback and corrective actions. • Promote a positive health and safety culture through safe practices and tidy work areas. • Work 2nd shift schedule (Mon‑Thu 3:00 pm‑1:30 am) and attend early meetings as needed. • Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Read and interpret reports, work instructions, and blueprints. • Develop, empower, and lead a team effectively. • Solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret varied instructions.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate a strong manufacturing background and prior leadership experience. • Exhibit high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. • Travel as needed; maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. • Read, write, and present simple correspondence and information clearly. • Perform basic math calculations and interpret bar graphs. • Hold a high school diploma/GED or 2‑4 years related experience/training, or equivalent. • Lift 50‑75 pounds occasionally and frequently squat, kneel, and stand. • Possess mechanical assembly, machining, metal fabrication, or powder‑coat paintline experience (preferred).
