About the Role
The role requires daily field engagement, including hands‑on system diagnostics, quality and compliance rework, on‑site authority representation, crew mentorship, expert oversight of hardware and codes, and participation in an on‑call rotation for urgent night or weekend issues. • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and battery system failures in the field. • Perform rework to ensure installations pass inspection and meet internal quality benchmarks. • Meet inspectors and AHJs on‑site, walk them through installations, and resolve issues in real time. • Onboard and provide hands‑on training for new installation crews to maintain high performance. • Participate in a scheduled on‑call rotation to address urgent night or weekend electrical issues. • Apply a “fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time” mindset and explain technical concepts to crews and inspectors. • Communicate clearly with installers, inspectors, and homeowners about work and corrections.

The electrician will be on‑site daily, pulling wire, opening panels, troubleshooting real problems, and setting the standard through action as the technical backbone of the DFW battery fleet. Applicants must hold a valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license and have four or more years of relevant electrical work, especially with battery backups, EV chargers, or whole‑home generators. A fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time mindset and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to crews, inspectors, and homeowners are essential. • Maintain deep mastery of Base hardware, NEC codes, and general electrical principles. • Hold a valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license. • Possess 4+ years of electrical experience with battery backups, EV chargers, or whole‑home generators.
