About the Role
In the Industrial sector, HDR helps clients create efficient, advanced infrastructure and practice environmental stewardship. Projects span the full lifecycle—from evaluation and planning, through design, construction monitoring, and operations—supporting resilient infrastructure and responsible growth. • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage small to medium projects and multiple concurrent projects. • Establish and maintain client relationships; participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders. • Coordinate staffing, workload, and ensure on‑schedule delivery of project deliverables. • Track project finances and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule. • Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. • Implement QA/QC procedures.

What You Bring
The position works closely with South Carolina leadership and the Advanced Manufacturing Practice, requiring strong verbal and written communication with internal staff, marketing, and operations leadership. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, PMP certification, advanced manufacturing project experience, and being a local candidate. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, seven years of relevant experience, at least two years of project management, a professional engineering license, proficiency in MS Office and MS Project (Access a plus), demonstrated leadership, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Preferred: Master’s degree, PMP certification, advanced manufacturing experience, local candidate. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 7 years related experience, 2+ years project management, Professional Engineering license, MS Office and MS Project proficiency (Access a plus), demonstrated leadership, commitment to employee‑owned culture.
