About the Role
As Shift Lead, the technician will oversee maintenance activities, conduct routine inspections, perform preventative maintenance, lubricate and clean equipment, replace crusher liners and screen panels, adjust and repair conveyor belts, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure the safety and operational efficiency of crushing plant equipment. • Oversee 2nd shift maintenance operations as Shift Lead. • Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. • Lubricate, clean, and replace crusher liners and screen panels. • Adjust and repair conveyor belts; troubleshoot malfunctions. • Ensure safety and operational efficiency of crushing plant equipment. • Diagnose and execute plant repairs with strong mechanical aptitude. • Maintain crushers, conveyors, and screens; fabricate, cut, and weld as needed. • Work flexible hours and locations, including nights, weekends, and overtime. • Rotate between Tanner, AL and West Huntsville, AL.

Compensation starts at $22.00 per hour with a $3.00 night shift premium, and wages may be higher based on verifiable maintenance experience. The full‑time, permanent position rotates between Tanner, AL and West Huntsville, AL, works 2nd shift nights, may require weekend work, and offers overtime opportunities.
