SAP EHS Product Stewardship Consultant

About the Role

Digital Services within ERM is looking for a SAP EHS Product Stewardship Functional Consultant in India to join its global practice. The consultant will design and implement SAP EHS PS solutions covering specification databases, SDS authoring, label generation, dangerous‑goods classification and substance‑volume tracking. The role combines hands‑on technical delivery with leadership of a BPO service centre and collaboration with the global PS practice. Key duties include evaluating EHS PS software options, gathering client requirements, and developing proposals and system design documentation. The consultant will lead full‑life‑cycle SAP EHS PS projects, configure modules such as Specification Management, SDS, GLM, DG and SVT, and manage related infrastructure (GenPC, Expert servers, WWI, OCC/ADM). They will also oversee change management, user training, knowledge transfer, and provide support for testing, rollout and ongoing maintenance. • Assess and recommend EHS PS software solutions aligned with client data and operational needs. • Collect and translate client requirements into detailed proposals and system design documents. • Drive end‑to‑end SAP EHS PS implementations, including configuration of Specification Management, SDS, GLM, DG, and SVT modules. • Manage SAP EHS PS infrastructure components such as GenPC, Expert servers, WWI templates, and OCC/ADM data loading. • Lead consulting teams to produce design documentation, custom reports, dashboards, and automated interfaces. • Facilitate change management, conduct user training, and provide knowledge‑transfer resources. • Support pre‑sales initiatives by contributing to RFP responses, scope definitions, timelines, and high‑level project plans.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS) and possess strong chemistry and product stewardship knowledge. Required experience includes at least three complete SAP EHS PS implementations and 2‑5 years in EHS product stewardship or compliance, with hands‑on work in SDS authoring and SAP infrastructure tools. The role demands the ability to travel full‑time to client sites and excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS with strong chemistry and product stewardship expertise. • Demonstrate at least three full lifecycle SAP EHS PS implementations and 2‑5 years of EHS product stewardship or compliance experience. • Possess hands‑on proficiency with SAP EHS PS functional areas and infrastructure tools such as WWI, OCC/ADM, and Expert servers. • Be willing and able to travel full‑time to client sites as required.
