About the Role

Interns will support engineering teams by assisting with research, development, design, and the preparation of drawings and project documentation. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to gain exposure to real‑world engineering work. • Assist engineering teams with research, development, and design tasks. • Prepare engineering drawings and related project documentation. • Perform basic engineering calculations and organize data for drawings. • Follow direction from peers and supervisors and adhere to shop drawing and submittal procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program and possess at least a high school diploma or GED. They should have a basic grasp of engineering, geometric, and algebraic concepts, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and be able to perform elementary engineering calculations and organize information for drawings. Preferred qualifications include completion of two years of engineering coursework, familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD, and a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure. Relocation and housing are not provided; the role is open to applicants legally authorized to work in the United States. • Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and hold a high school diploma/GED. • Demonstrate basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Preferred: two years of post‑secondary engineering coursework completed. • Preferred: knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
