About the Role

Employees are expected to set up and operate equipment, make necessary adjustments, maintain production and quality standards, inspect work against specifications, report issues, and keep the work area clean and safe, while also training other staff as needed. Work is performed in a temperature‑controlled manufacturing environment with periodic rotation through various stations such as press and lace, pre‑connect, connect, bullet, taping, automated winders, inserter, stack & insulate, stator testing, and stator oven. • Read and interpret model folders, OTIS, SMI, and blueprints to identify required motor components. • Set up, operate, and adjust winding and repair equipment using hand and power tools to meet production tolerances. • Inspect work for quality and engineering compliance; report non‑conformances to supervisors. • Operate powered equipment safely at standard production rates and maintain a clean, orderly work area. • Train fellow employees on procedures and safety practices. • Use computer systems to access online information and documentation.

What You Bring

The role involves entry‑level and semi‑skilled winding and repair operations, requiring the ability to read model folders, the Online Technical System (OTIS), Standard Manual Instructions (SMI), and blueprints, as well as a working knowledge of shop orders. The position demands regular physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 10‑25 lb (occasionally 50 lb), carrying, bending, twisting, frequent hand and finger use, and the consistent use of safety glasses and other personal protective equipment. Candidates should have experience reading blueprints, using basic computer software, and operating hand and power tools. • Lift and carry up to 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally); perform frequent bending, twisting, grasping, and repetitive motions while wearing required PPE. • Demonstrate ability to read blueprints, use basic software, and operate hand/power tools.
