About the Role

The Skilled Laborer‑Electrical is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems at job sites while keeping the construction site clean, safe, and efficient, and supporting overall project goals. The incumbent must promote and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, complete required safety documentation, and take personal responsibility for a zero‑injury work environment. Key duties include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems; reading technical diagrams and blueprints; inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other components; and assisting in troubleshooting to ensure system integrity. The role requires safe operation of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and testing equipment, performing routine maintenance, identifying and repairing faults, and collaborating with electricians to meet project specifications and timelines. Travel to different job sites on short notice may be required. • Follow all company safety policies and complete required safety paperwork. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and safety manuals. • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure system functionality. • Operate hand and power tools safely, including drills, saws, and testing equipment. • Perform routine maintenance and repair breakdowns, faults, and malfunctions. • Collaborate with electricians to meet project specifications and timelines. • Travel to various job sites on short notice as needed. • Participate in a 401(k) with company match and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Required skills include proficiency with electrical tools, in‑depth knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, ability to read safety rules and manuals, and a commitment to precise, procedural work. The position involves regular exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, high and precarious locations, extreme heat, loud noise, and occasional fumes, vibration, or airborne particles. • Hold a high school diploma or GED with at least 12 months of construction experience, or equivalent training. • Proficient with electrical tools and possess strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring. • Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. • Work accurately and follow set procedures and standards.
