About the Role

Mortenson is seeking an Operator to safely operate a variety of heavy equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. The role involves following prescribed safety regulations, maintaining orderly housekeeping, and performing routine maintenance while detecting any equipment malfunctions. • Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid‑steer, aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane. • Follow safety regulations and maintain orderly housekeeping. • Perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment operation, and detect malfunctions. • Follow work plans and pre‑task cards. • Build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds required equipment certifications, at least one year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements. Strong teamwork, a positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and the ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals are essential. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
