About the Role

The Operations Supervisor – Landfill oversees a team of lead operators, operators and laborers to ensure efficient landfill operations. The role ensures fill sequencing plans are followed, density goals are met, and all activities comply with permits and company standards. The supervisor partners with the Operations Manager and General Manager to drive functional excellence and meet budget targets, while upholding safety, environmental, regulatory, accounting and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, removing unsafe conditions, coordinating with maintenance to keep equipment compliant, and maintaining an effective loss‑control program. The supervisor delivers a superior customer experience by addressing service requests, equipment breakdowns and schedule changes with clear communication. Efficiency is achieved by setting productivity goals, managing labor hours and disposal costs, and supporting fleet maintenance. What You Bring
