About the Role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems at construction job sites while keeping the site clean, safe, and efficient, and supporting overall project goals. The role requires a focus on safety and quality to ensure reliable electrical performance throughout the project. • Promote and adhere to company safety policies and complete required safety documentation. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and procedure manuals. • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure system functionality. • Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and testing equipment. • Perform routine maintenance and repair breakdowns, faults, and malfunctions. • Replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using appropriate tools. • Collaborate with electricians to meet project specifications and timelines. • Travel to multiple job sites on short notice as needed. • Follow precise standards of accuracy and procedural compliance.

What You Bring
The technician must follow all company safety policies, complete required documentation, and perform installations, inspections, and repairs of control, wiring, and lighting systems. They read technical diagrams and blueprints, inspect components such as transformers and circuit breakers, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity. Safe operation of hand and power tools and collaboration with other electricians are essential, and travel to different job sites may be required on short notice. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and at least twelve months of related construction experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. They must be proficient with electrical tools and testing devices, possess in‑depth knowledge of electrical systems and installation techniques, and be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and technical documents. A strong commitment to personal and team safety, accuracy, and procedural compliance is required. Work is performed outdoors and often involves exposure to weather, high or precarious locations, extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and loud noise. The environment demands adherence to safety standards and the ability to work under physically demanding conditions. • Hold a high school diploma/GED with at least 12 months construction experience or equivalent training. • Demonstrate proficiency with electrical tools, meters, and testing devices. • Possess in‑depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniques. • Work in outdoor conditions, often exposed to weather, high places, heat, fumes, and loud noise.

Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience, with performance reviews and merit increases.
