About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. Key duties include promoting safety, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, managing work orders and inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.). • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usage. • Manage department inventory and track supplies. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive relationships across all operations facilities. • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management. • Work flexible schedules/shifts as required. • Follow MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines. • Operate and maintain robotic systems. • Troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications require a high school diploma, at least two years of experience repairing material handling or conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance, one year of blueprint and schematic reading, knowledge of electrical principles, CMMS experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work flexible schedules. Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in mechanical or electrical fields, familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Physical demands involve reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders or aerial lifts, lifting up to 50 lb, wearing required PPE, walking 6–12 miles daily, working in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations, and using a computer for 1–2 hours per day. • Proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to create and manage documents. • Perform physical tasks: reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lift, lift up to 50 lb, wear required PPE. • Walk 6–12 miles daily and work in varying temperature warehouse environments.
