About the Role
The Fabrication Technician fabricates parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals using blueprints. The role requires effective communication and teamwork to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. The company fosters a creative environment where professionals can reach their full potential. Daily tasks include setting up, operating, and performing periodic maintenance on machines such as shears, Finn Power, Prima, horizontal press brakes/benders, and Trumpf laser, following travel documents, blueprints, and written or oral instructions. The technician ensures proper machine setup, conducts 5S duties, inspects finished products, measures parts, identifies non‑conforming items, and communicates equipment issues or improvement suggestions. Additionally, the employee proactively seeks process improvements, conducts root‑cause analysis for quality or production issues, and cross‑trains to cover other functions. • Fabricate steel, aluminum, and cast‑metal parts from blueprints • Set up, operate, and perform periodic maintenance on shears, Finn Power, Prima, horizontal press brakes/benders, and Trumpf laser • Conduct 5S duties and ensure proper safety checks before machine operation • Measure finished parts with tape measures and calipers; perform visual inspections and identify non‑conforming parts • Communicate equipment issues, improvement suggestions, and job progress to supervisors or team leads • Perform root‑cause analysis and propose process improvements for quality or production issues • Cross‑train and cover other employees’ functions as needed

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, and reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC (with limited exceptions). Relevant experience includes machine operation, sheet‑metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and use of measuring devices. Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem‑solving skills are required. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Possess experience in machine operation, sheet‑metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and use of measuring tools; strong communication and analytical skills
