Job Highlights
About the Role
• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems. • Implement MasTec Health Safety and Environmental Policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Climb towers and ladders at various heights and conduct erection of various tower types. • Off‑load material, manage inventory, and prepare/clean sites. • Install new carriers on new‑build and existing towers. • Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles. • Assist in assembling monopoles, weld and knock‑down self‑support, and guyed towers. • Assist in antenna installation for microwave parabola, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas. • Assist in transmission line installation of foam/air dielectric coaxial, hardline, and elliptical waveguide. • Assist in installing foundations, grounding, conduits, and related electrical work. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians.

What You Bring
• High school diploma and at least 2 years of tower experience. • Ability to read and follow printed instructions. • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations; NWSA certification is a plus. • Ability to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per shift. • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • Safety‑focused, high‑quality workmanship, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to work long‑term projects hands‑on with a team.
