About the Role
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Baker Hughes will join a collaborative team focusing on critical security issues and partner with leading professionals to protect the organization. In this role you will identify and remediate non‑compliance with internal policies and regulations such as SOX, ISO 27002, and data‑privacy mandates, develop and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, oversee account lifecycle and privilege management, and influence the IT organization’s IAM strategy. You will stay current with IAM technologies, coordinate delivery with infrastructure and application teams, serve as the subject‑matter expert, maintain IAM documentation, and ensure operational excellence through project reviews, cost‑benefit analysis, and program governance. Additionally, you will manage budgets, contracts, and project resources while fostering effective relationships with peers and vendors to integrate IAM initiatives across the enterprise.

What You Bring
Successful candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and have at least five years of IAM experience, or are graduates of the Baker Hughes ASPIRE program. Required expertise includes implementation and support of identity management, provisioning workflows, single sign‑on, RBAC, auditing, and user access reviews, with hands‑on experience in SailPoint or Saviynt, Java programming, web services, and connectors for directories such as Oracle Virtual Directory, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and Firebase. Experience with custom connector development, reconciliation, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting middleware, and evaluating proof‑of‑concept functionalities is also essential.
