About the Role

We are seeking a permanent Service & Quality Specialist to join our Technical Support Team. In this role you will provide aftermarket maintenance and quality support for Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions equipment and components both at our facilities and on customer sites across Australia. Responsibilities include performing mechanical and process maintenance, identifying and resolving technical issues, installing and commissioning new equipment, and following on‑site leadership direction while working independently when needed. You will also comply with all HSEQ and safety procedures, attend training and meetings, and be available for after‑hours call‑outs. • Perform mechanical and process maintenance at customer mine sites Australia‑wide. • Identify, report and resolve technical issues safely and efficiently. • Install and commission new Sandvik equipment on‑site. • Follow on‑site leadership direction and work independently when required. • Comply with HSEQ, safety procedures and customer site requirements. • Attend training, meetings and be available for after‑hours call‑outs. • Service mineral processing and fixed‑plant equipment, especially crushing and screening. • Conduct preventative maintenance, hydraulic repairs, automation set‑up, troubleshooting and fault finding. • Ensure safety with strong knowledge of isolation procedures and site standards. • Travel, work weekends, stay away from home and mobilise at short notice. • Participate in a fair, bias‑free recruitment process with assessment tools and structured interviews. • Work for a global engineering leader with 160+ years of expertise and a focus on eco‑efficient rock processing.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has experience servicing mineral processing and fixed‑plant equipment in the mining industry, with particular expertise in crushing and screening. Strong technical abilities are required in preventative maintenance, hydraulic repair, automation setup, troubleshooting and fault finding. A solid commitment to safety, including knowledge of isolation procedures and site standards, is essential. You must be trade‑qualified as a Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or Diesel mechanic, hold a current driver’s licence (or be willing to obtain one), and be able to complete site documentation and required tickets or clearances. Flexibility to travel, work weekends, stay away from home and mobilise at short notice is also required.
