About the Role
The appointed leader will own the IM team, drive its growth and development, and act as the primary client‑facing contact for all matters related to Information Management and BIM. They will occasionally represent clients in client‑side roles, monitor project performance metrics and strategically allocate resources to maximise commercial outcomes. When Ramboll acts as the lead appointed party and sub‑contracts design services, the leader will define and manage the information‑management strategy on behalf of the multi‑disciplinary team, working closely with client specialists to craft solutions that meet their requirements.

What You Bring
Although discipline‑specific BIM and IM are overseen by technical disciplines, the role requires strong alignment and collaboration with modellers and BIM managers across the Buildings UK team. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, a keen eye for detail and the ability to operate independently with high initiative. They will inspire the team, set a strategic growth plan and leverage support from senior leadership and technical experts. • Proven senior leadership experience in Information Management within the buildings/construction sector. • Strong track record of developing and growing IM/digital delivery service offerings. • Demonstrable ability to originate work, support bids, and maintain key client relationships. • Deep understanding of ISO 19650, CDEs, and project information delivery across RIBA stages. • Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling Information Management teams. • Commercial awareness of pricing, scope definition, risk management, and value proposition development. • Extensive experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), configuring and managing ISO 19650‑compliant CDE environments. • Competence in core BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri. • Ability to obtain UK security clearances.
