About the Role
Key responsibilities involve leading commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems; troubleshooting complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms; integrating third‑party systems via BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks; configuring controls, trends, alarms, and reports; managing secure network connections; mentoring junior technicians; and delivering customer training. • Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms. • Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks protocols. • Configure controls, trends, alarms, reports, and manage secure network connections. • Mentor junior technicians and provide on‑site training and support. • Deliver customer training to ensure systems perform as promised.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of experience in building automation or HVAC, ability to climb ladders over eight feet, lift up to 50 lb, and maintain a valid driver’s license insurable by the company. Preferred qualifications include a degree or certificate in HVAC, controls, or a related field, advanced proficiency with WebCTRL and other automation software, strong TCP/IP networking skills, the ability to handle multidisciplinary challenges, excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. • Minimum 3 years experience in building automation or HVAC with a high school diploma/GED. • Ability to climb ladders over 8 ft, lift up to 50 lb, and hold a valid driver’s license. • Preferred: degree or certification in HVAC/Controls and advanced proficiency with WebCTRL and TCP/IP networks. • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences.
