About the Role
The Assistant Vice President will provide end‑to‑end real‑estate capital advisory in the Mumbai market, leveraging deep expertise in DCR regulations, feasibility analysis, financial modelling, and development structuring. The role drives transactions from market assessment and due diligence through negotiation, documentation and commercial closure with developers and financial institutions. Key responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive knowledge of DCR and related land‑use regulations affecting residential, industrial, and reservation lands in Mumbai, and translating landowner or small‑developer funding requirements into suitable joint‑development or financing structures. The role requires hands‑on financial modelling, market surveys, and preparation of clear presentations that outline viable product options for specific micro‑markets. The incumbent will liaise with developers to advance proposals to commercial closure, oversee due‑diligence on legal, technical and financial aspects, and coordinate the signing of term sheets or MOUs. Additional duties involve fundraising support, business‑development initiatives, networking, cold‑calling, and participation in industry seminars to generate pipeline opportunities. • Provide end‑to‑end real‑estate capital advisory in Mumbai, covering DCR compliance, feasibility, modelling and structuring. • Lead transactions from market assessment and due diligence to negotiation, documentation and commercial closure with developers and lenders. • Conduct detailed financial models, valuations, market surveys and prepare client pitch materials. • Perform comprehensive due‑diligence on legal, technical and financial aspects and manage closing activities. • Drive business development through networking, cold‑calling, industry seminars and leveraging internal relationships. • Support fundraising initiatives and develop joint‑development or financing structures for landowners and small developers. • Build capability in indirect real‑estate products such as funds, securitisation and REITs.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and negotiation abilities, and proven financial expertise. They are a self‑starter, confident, collaborative multitasker with acute attention to detail, a bias for action, and the ability to influence all management levels. Proficiency in credit underwriting, valuation, and advanced financial modelling is essential, as is in‑depth knowledge of real‑estate deal structuring and MS Office. Candidates should have 7–12 years of experience in capital markets, with hands‑on exposure to real‑estate capital‑market transactions. Required qualifications include a CA, MBA in Finance, or CFA designation. The role also emphasizes building capability in indirect real‑estate products such as funds, securitisation and REITs. • Require 7–12 years capital‑markets experience; CA, MBA Finance or CFA preferred.
