About the Role
The estimator develops cost estimates for routine small construction projects under direct supervision, using client documentation to guide the work. Key duties include reviewing project proposals and specifications, preparing material orders, visiting job sites to monitor progress and resolve issues, creating detailed project plans, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and handling any additional tasks assigned by management. • Examine proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine project scope and timeline. • Prepare material orders and accompanying documentation. • Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate work. • Create project plans from estimates, defining tasks, schedules, and required personnel. • Confer with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers; negotiate and apply local expertise to estimate costs.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess at least a high school education, preferably a related degree, and have two years of relevant experience or equivalent training, with the ability to pass a background check. Preferred qualifications include experience with ACCUBID, intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficiency in take‑off estimator planning.
