About the Role
The Project Manager coordinates masonry, plaster/stucco, concrete, and marble & granite projects, ensuring alignment with Gallegos’ mission, vision, values, and goals. The role requires strong trade knowledge, organizational, leadership, and supervisory skills, and emphasizes exemplary customer service when interacting with owners, vendors, superintendents, foremen, architects, general contractors, and internal teams. • Ensure the highest standard of safety on projects at all times. • Collaborate with pre-construction department on handoff and budget development at the beginning of each project during the pre-job planning process. • Maintain detailed schedule for planning and tracking of manpower, equipment, cash flow and risk management. • Facilitate/coordinate with all stakeholders through the Short Interval Planning (SIP) process, scheduling tools, equipment, material, and manpower as required by field staff. • Ensure foremen are accountable for adhering to the SIP, daily huddle crew timecard management (ADP), and toolbox talks. • Participate in the exit strategy process with high level of input and in the post‑job review process. • Confer with superintendent, foreman, and subs in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specs, and coordinating various phases of construction. • Review all change documents (ASI, RFI, CCD, RFC) on projects; generate change orders and take‑offs. • Collaborate with accounting/job costing department to ensure budgets are set up. • Conduct weekly (Bird Report) and monthly project budget analyses (BTA); ensure accurate job site projections and communicate cost‑effective purchasing methods to field staff. • Monitor employee performance, document disciplinary issues, and participate in termination decisions and candidate interviews. • Ensure superintendents and foremen manage risk through proper project documentation; escalate contractual risks and anomalies immediately to the regional president. • Develop and maintain client relationships; track new project leads and communicate with CBDO and regional president. • Participate in estimates for labor, material, and subcontractor costs using BTA knowledge for bids. • Model The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering – Preferred. • Technical knowledge in construction, estimating or project management – Required. • 3‑5 years of equivalent work experience and/or trade school required. • Ability to review job site blueprints. • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. • OSHA‑10 Card – Required. • OSHA‑30 Card – Preferred. • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Procore, cost accounting and inventory systems. • English language – Required. • Spanish language – Preferred.

Benefits
The Project Manager position offers a salary range of $81,000 to $120,000 and is classified as exempt under the FLSA. This role is based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
