About the Role

Technicians communicate with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls, and they train authorized operators on safe equipment use. They ensure all paperwork is completed, track serial numbers, troubleshoot and repair rental equipment, operate company vehicles safely, and maintain cleanliness and functionality of returned equipment. • Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Deliver, install, and train customers on safe use of rented HVAC equipment. • Complete appropriate paperwork and track serial numbers for all equipment. • Troubleshoot, repair, and test climate‑control equipment while adhering to safety standards. • Operate company vehicle safely and follow all company safety policies. • Clean, test, and prepare returned equipment for future rentals. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural‑gas applications and verify connections. • Maintain accurate records of in‑stock and rented equipment with managers and sales engineers. • Provide on‑call emergency service on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings.

What You Bring

The HVAC Technician 2 demonstrates professionalism through positive communication and appearance while delivering exemplary service to customers. This role involves delivering portable HVAC equipment, repairing and maintaining company equipment, and performing general shop duties, including installing climate‑control (CC) equipment. Candidates must have 3‑5 years of formal HVAC experience or training, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
