About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will join AECOM's Infrastructure Project Management team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of water and environmental projects, including initiatives aligned with the £88bn AMP8 investment and national flood‑risk programmes. Working alongside multi‑disciplinary teams in the Southeast, Southwest, London, and Midlands, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality, on‑time, and cost‑effective solutions for both water companies and government bodies. • Lead delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure and environmental projects. • Manage client‑side responsibilities: stakeholder engagement, health & safety, risk, quality, schedule, and contract administration. • Ensure projects meet client expectations for quality, cost, and timeline. • Provide resources and support to project teams, coordinating subcontractors and remote personnel. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross‑functional team members. • Support business development initiatives with existing and new clients.

What You Bring
• Possess infrastructure project management experience, preferably in the water sector. • Demonstrate proficiency with NEC contracts (PSC, ECC) and integrated multi‑organisation collaboration. • Exhibit excellent communication, organisational, and relationship‑building skills. • Hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience; NEC3/4 knowledge; PRINCE2 or APM qualification desirable. • Maintain high IT proficiency and use of current digital tools. • Work independently with initiative while collaborating closely with senior project managers and associates.
