Assist with manual maintenance tasks, fire watch, equipment handling, and safety duties.

About the Role
• Move equipment, dig, retrieve tools, and assist with fire safety as directed. • Use fire extinguishers and stand by for fire watch duties. • Climb onto structures and scaffolding. • Operate rigging and hoisting devices (chokers, chain falls, come‑alongs) to position materials. • Perform preventative maintenance such as lubrication and repair of worn parts. • Follow directions from supervisor.

What You Bring
The role requires extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as occasional work at heights, climbing ladders, and operating in various weather conditions for up to 12 hours per day. Personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirator, safety vest, gloves and steel‑toe boots must be worn. • Experience with industrial hand and power tools. • Reliable transportation and availability to work any of the 7 days as needed. • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of hand/power tools. • Good problem‑solving, manual dexterity, reading comprehension, and communication skills. • Team‑player attitude and adherence to Zachry safety values. • Current or former Zachry employee (ROF’ed) preferred. • Experience on industrial construction sites preferred. • Formal technical education preferred.
