About the Role

The role is responsible for maintaining an accurate account of hours worked by all employees on a project site. Duties include completing timesheets, posting, balancing labor distributions, recaps, computing wages and adjustments, and preparing payrolls. The position also records maintenance and project payroll reports as required and closes payrolls. Minimum qualifications are 1-2 years of timekeeping experience, computer proficiency, up-to-date knowledge of benefit plans, IRS regulations, EEO policies, and a high school diploma or equivalent. • Computes total time worked by employees • Enter payroll into computer • Delivers paycheck to employee • May interview employees to discuss hours worked and pay adjustments • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules • Operate business machines, computers and/or menu driven applications • Plan work on a daily basis • Make decisions based on measurable criteria

What You Bring

The position may require a high school diploma or equivalent combined with prior experience in the field or a related area. Candidates should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures, and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Work is performed under immediate supervision with limited independent judgment, reporting to a supervisor or manager. Physical demands include primarily sitting (80% of the time) with occasional standing and walking (10% each). The job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 20 lb or 20 ft‑lb, and occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and handling. • Basic record keeping and other procedures for concentrating on details • Posses excellent communication skills, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
