About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will collaborate with various engineering teams to create detailed designs, plans, specifications and installation designs of complete mechanical systems and HVAC solutions for data centres. You will be part of a 100‑percent employee‑owned organization that supports many opportunities to advance, succeed and fulfil your career aspirations. • Agree design duties with your Project Manager and Office Principal / Team Leaders. • Carry out engineering concept design through to detailed design. • Liaise with the design team to coordinate detailed designs and agree manufacturers and samples. • Maintain good client and design team relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. • Assist colleagues with identifying and implementing personal training/CPD requirements and help develop working practices in the company. • Implement and manage tasks in accordance with QA systems and company procedures on all projects (ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified). • Assist with CAD resource requirements.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate can establish excellent rapport with team members, business partners and clients, work under pressure, handle varied workloads, meet tight deadlines, and maintain the highest level of technical excellence. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a relevant subject. • Experience with mechanical systems, HVAC engineering and multiple levels of resilience; previous mechanical system design for Data Center projects (essential). • Experience in commercial or institutional facilities. • Proficiency with MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and manufacturer selection software. • Previous experience within a design consultancy or engineering consulting firm. • Ability to manage projects with limited supervision (desirable).
