About the Role
The Assembler role is responsible for assembling speed reducers and gearboxes according to bills of materials, production orders, and engineering prints. Duties include using hand tools, air impact wrenches, pneumatic and hydraulic presses, operating testing equipment, inspecting completed units for quality and paint standards, completing documentation, and packaging painted units with accurate labeling. • Assemble speed reducers and gearboxes using hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools. • Perform sub‑assembly and special unit builds from engineering prints and blueprints. • Operate presses, air impact wrenches, greasing guns, testing equipment, and overhead hoists or forklifts. • Inspect completed units for correct assembly, appearance, and paint standards; document daily work. • Package painted units accurately with matching labels. • Apply lean manufacturing principles and maintain high attention to detail and safety compliance.

The position requires frequent walking, standing, twisting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as occasional climbing and pushing/pulling. Workers must use personal protective equipment and may be exposed to solvents, dust, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and continuous‑improvement mindset. • Work effectively under pressure, meet production goals, and adapt to schedule changes. • Collaborate with team members, communicate clearly in English, and maintain reliable attendance. • Meet export‑control eligibility (U.S. Person) and be willing to work overtime or weekends as needed. • Hold a high‑school diploma/GED; 2 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lb, standing, walking, bending, and working in a PPE‑required environment.
