About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Service Manager will partner to develop and execute the territory’s service sales and operations business plan, aligning financial and non‑financial objectives. Responsibilities include coaching the sales and operations team, setting clear sales goals, and ensuring performance is tied to key performance indicators. The manager will oversee day‑to‑day field staff activities, including hiring, training, safety compliance, and performance management of technicians and superintendents. Duties also cover expanding the customer portfolio, generating field leads, managing budgets for material and labor, and conducting safety audits and site inspections. • Lead service sales and operational execution across Sacramento and Reno territories. • Manage field staff recruitment, training, performance reviews, and safety compliance. • Develop and implement action plans to improve safety, reduce callbacks, and meet budget targets. • Expand customer portfolio and drive loyalty through upgrades, repairs, and proactive account management. • Generate field leads and support sales representatives in closing service contracts. • Coordinate material deliveries, purchase orders, and logistics to ensure project timelines are met. • Resolve escalated customer issues, including contractual disputes and collection efforts. • Track and report on KPIs, forecasts, and financial performance against objectives.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (or high school with 10 + years experience) and at least five years of elevator‑industry management, B2B sales, and people‑leadership experience. Strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft tools, and a solid understanding of financial statements, contracts, and EH&S policies are essential. • Require minimum 5 + years elevator‑industry management experience and B2B sales background. • Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and Microsoft software proficiency.

Benefits
The position requires full‑time office work in Sacramento or Reno with occasional travel to the other location; remote work is not available. Otis offers a salary range of $150,000–$180,000 and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) matching, health coverage, paid vacation, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and various voluntary insurance options.
