About the Role
• Provide preconstruction support, historical cost data, and develop annual contractor purchase orders. • Manage internal project budgets and schedules of values in project‑management software for monthly financial reporting. • Oversee external project budgets, commitments, change orders and document control in external software. • Produce monthly forecasts, cash‑flow analyses, identify variances and create executive reports. • Review vendor invoices monthly, coordinate project‑management review, third‑party audits and accounts payable communication. • Ensure accurate accrual reporting for all purchase orders, liaising with vendors and finance. • Facilitate change‑order routing, content analysis and obtain executive approval within project software. • Review project financial health each month using dashboards, budget tools, schedule comparisons and productivity reports. • Update internal and contractor risk registers and evaluate contingencies. • Execute financial closeout of internal budgets and vendor purchase orders. • Coordinate with site scheduler to align financial forecasts and risks with schedule updates. • Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities. • Adjust on‑site presence and requirements based on client needs.

What You Bring
The firm is hiring a Project Controls Analyst for its Tucson, Arizona office. The ideal candidate is a construction professional with experience analysing cost and schedule on large construction projects or programs. This role will support pre‑construction, budget management, forecasting, invoicing and risk management activities. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field and have at least three years of relevant experience. They should be proficient with project‑management, cost‑control and scheduling software and be able to clearly communicate financial status and schedule details. Strong analytical, presentation and collaborative communication skills are essential.

Benefits
The full‑time position offers a salary range of $75,000‑110,000, reflecting base salary only and subject to experience.
