About the Role

The Assembler builds and installs wiring, subassemblies, components, and fixed assemblies for electrical control equipment. This role includes preparing units for testing and final inspection, and verifying electrical and mechanical integrity using established power‑checking procedures. All work must meet quantity and quality standards as defined by the assignment. Assemblies are performed from oral or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing data, with materials handled according to defined procedures. The assembler also conducts routine maintenance on plant equipment, inspects and tests finished products for compliance with specifications and codes, and monitors job progress while reporting any shortages or problems. Finished products are prepared for shipment, carriers are contacted, and loads are placed into vehicles. • Wire, fit, and mount subassemblies and components in electrical control equipment. • Assemble units for test preparation and final inspection. • Use power‑checking procedures to confirm electrical/mechanical integrity. • Follow oral/written instructions, drawings, and material‑handling protocols. • Conduct routine maintenance on plant equipment as needed. • Inspect and test finished products for compliance with specs and codes. • Monitor job progress and report shortages or problems. • Prepare finished products for shipment, arrange carriers, and load materials. • Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
