About the Role
A rare and exciting leadership opportunity is now open at Ventia’s new Defence Clothing Store at RAAF Tindal. If you’re a natural leader with a passion for people, service excellence and smooth operational delivery, this role lets you make your mark in a high‑profile Defence environment. You will guide a talented team of retail and seamstress professionals, shape the store’s success from day one, and ensure service meets Defence standards and Ventia’s commitment to excellence. As the Site Leader you will oversee store operations, ensure compliance with Defence policy, and drive financial performance. You will lead and mentor a high‑performing team, manage service delivery, solve problems on the spot and champion continuous improvement. What You Bring
We are looking for a confident, people‑focused leader who holds Australian citizenship and can obtain Defence clearance. The ideal candidate has prior experience supervising teams, strong organisational and communication skills, and a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach. Experience in logistics or Defence environments, performance‑management reporting and solid IT skills are highly regarded.
