About the Role

The Maintenance Scheduler plays a key role in planning and scheduling maintenance activities to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maximize asset performance. This position is responsible for developing maintenance plans, scheduling work orders, and coordinating resources to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. • Collaborate with managers, engineers, and technicians to develop comprehensive maintenance plans. • Review equipment histories and performance data to create proactive maintenance strategies. • Define scope of work, required resources, materials, and tools for maintenance tasks. • Create, prioritize, and review preventive, predictive, and corrective work orders. • Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to maintenance teams. • Develop and maintain schedules that optimize resource utilization and minimize equipment downtime. • Coordinate maintenance timing with production to reduce disruptions. • Communicate schedule updates to relevant stakeholders. • Ensure availability of parts, materials, and equipment by coordinating with procurement and inventory teams. • Allocate manpower, equipment, and tools according to priority and urgency. • Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. • Maintain accurate records of work orders, schedules, equipment histories, and inventory levels. • Generate reports on equipment uptime, maintenance backlog, and work order completion rates. • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred). • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability principles, and asset management concepts. • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling software; experience with SAP and P6. • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration. • Preferred certification: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar. • Preferred certification: Training or certification in CMMS.
