About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all requirements of civil and construction projects, including change orders, submittals, procurement, financial set‑up, updates, and scheduling. This role ensures projects are delivered with quality, profitability, safety, and on time. The position is primarily field‑based, supporting worksites across the assigned area, and requires approximately 75 % travel or temporary relocation. A vehicle allowance, fuel card, and per‑diem for meals and lodging are provided. The Project Manager maintains a constant focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations while planning, organizing, and staffing key field positions. Responsibilities include establishing project objectives and standards, liaising with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and directing on‑site superintendents to keep projects on schedule and within budget. What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field and has at least five years of relevant experience. Required competencies include proficiency with Microsoft Office, construction estimating software (Hard Dollar, Bid Build, Heavy Build), and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera). A solid understanding of civil engineering design, mass grading, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure is essential, along with strong communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities. The position may be performed in a corporate office or on‑site in the field, exposing the incumbent to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, and moderate noise levels. Flexibility is needed to adapt to varying site conditions while maintaining safety and performance standards. • Hold a BS in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field with at least 5 years of experience. • Demonstrate knowledge of mass grading, earthwork, stream restoration, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility infrastructure. • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with clients, management, subcontractors, and vendors.
