About the Role
The role involves operating a valve and gear forge press, setting up presses for various prints, changing tooling, adjusting machinery during changeovers, and operating a forklift. The employee is also responsible for minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping the work area clean according to the housekeeping program. Collaboration with audit and quality‑control personnel is required to identify and resolve quality problems, and the employee will perform visual inspection and auditing of valves, gears, and slugs for defects. • Operate valve/gear forge press, perform set‑up, tooling changes, and adjustments. • Conduct minor machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues. • Audit valves, gears, and slugs for quality defects. • Operate forklift and maintain a clean, hazard‑free workspace. • Follow safety, quality, and company policies; wear required PPE.
