What You Bring
Cummings Electrical seeks high‑energy self‑starters for a Construction Superintendent in Training role. The program blends field apprenticeship, management training, office‑based learning and mentorship to prepare future leaders. Trainees will start as apprentice electricians on large commercial and industrial projects, gaining hands‑on knowledge of the company’s methods, safety culture, quality standards and business processes while building leadership and management skills. The goal is to develop superintendents who can meet operational targets, lead teams, manage projects profitably, and support Cummings Electrical’s overall success. Permanent US work authorization is required; compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package. • Learn electrical construction methods, materials, and sequencing. • Understand project delivery requirements: schedule, budget, quality, and resource planning. • Strong commitment to safety (“Safety True Believer”). • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or 5+ years relevant field experience. • Analytical, process‑oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities. • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Technical aptitude for ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and MS Office Suite. • Ability to obtain an Apprentice Electrical License (TDLR) and permanent US work authorization.
