About the Role

The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. • Outline work plans and assign duties and authority with project staff. • Verify material, equipment, production cost estimates, performance requirements, and schedules for accuracy. • Review and adjust project status reports, schedules, and plans as needed. • Prepare bids, specifications, test reports, progress reports, and related documentation. • Evaluate subcontractor bids for contract compliance and approve acceptable offers. • Award and administer subcontracts, including final payment approvals. • Generate project reports for management and clients. • Advise superintendents and construction managers on contractual rights and obligations. • Maintain subcontractor databases and status records. • Serve as liaison among the company, clients, and subcontractors. • Ensure timely invoicing and enforce payment terms, managing schedule of values. • Document all project events, discussions, and issues comprehensively. • Provide monthly project status projections. • Coordinate activities with government regulatory agencies when required. • Assist other craft workers as needed.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent use of hands to grasp, lift, handle, and carry objects. The employee must be capable of climbing and maintaining balance on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and navigate uneven terrain, muddy conditions, loose rock or sand, and multi‑floor buildings without elevators. Exposure to adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain, and the need for both close and distance vision are also required, along with the ability to operate all types of office equipment and drive cars or trucks as needed. Effective communication with management, supervision, and field workers is essential, including reading, writing, and comprehension for direction and safety policies. The position demands strong decision‑making, leadership, and motivational skills, along with attention to detail, the ability to perform calculations, and concentration amid distractions. Candidates must be able to work at various tempos and remember, examine, and observe details.
